This wonderful annotated book covers the lifespan of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  It is filled with many photographs of her childhood through her growing up years.  Her travels through the Midwest are portrayed through diaries, letters, and manuscripts.  It gives the reader a full account of her life in true form.  This is a must read book.
